RDI has been awarded the design and supply of control consoles for a large-scale control center located in Egypt's New Administrative Capital
The project, which consists of 164 workposts, will equip an operating environment for the Governmental sector and will be operative by the end of 2021.

The new city is to be located 45 kilometres (28 miles) east of Cairo in a currently largely undeveloped area halfway to the seaport city of Suez. According to the plans, the city will become the new administrative and financial capital of Egypt, housing the main government departments and ministries, as well as foreign embassies.
On 700 square kilometres (270 sq mi) total area, it would have a population of 6.5 million people. Officially, a major reason for the undertaking of the project was to relieve congestion in Cairo, which is already one of the world's most crowded cities.
The control center is organized by 4 sub-control rooms (NN1-1 SSN, NN1-2 SSN, NN2-1 QPN, NN2-2 QPN) and they all have the LITE console used in different configurations as appropriate.

Lite, a console that combines innovation, functionality, elegance and robustness. It is ergonomic and highly functional. Designed to revolutionize technological environments with high added value. Lite Console offers multipple advantatges and adapts to the project thanks to its main features:
MAXIMUM CONNECTIVITY
