Full renovation under challenging circumstances in a short time frame (2 months!). The operations centre is equipped with LAN range consoles totally customised for the client.

Together with Al Juraid, our partner in Saudi Arabia, RDI is responsible for the renovation of an operations centre. The project has been equipped with LAN consoles, meeting tables, auxiliary furniture and ergonomic seating, all fully adapted to customer needs.
 

The new Control Center called the “Community Services" (CS), inaugurated on February 2021 and located on the ground floor of the Al-Mujamma' building in Dhahran, Saudí Arabia, acts as a business intelligence hub and nerve center that monitors and analyzes data from the diverse range of services that CS provides. Consumer behavior, customer satisfaction, and facilities utilization are all continuously monitored.

Latest technology
 

With more than 200 inputs and outputs, the Center uses the latest in visualization technology to deliver a real- time, holistic view of CS operations. The Control Center is fully integrated with a new 939 Call Center, which handles the maintenance requests for around 30,000 residents across the Kingdom. It is a 24/7 operation, with 25 agents handling around 3,000 calls per week.

CONTROL ROOM

The control room consists of a V-shaped LAN console for 10 operators plus a supervisor in the central area. All workstations are equipped with a technical compartment for PC or KVM with pull-out shelves (including space for cable routing as well as power and data sockets), a rear DSS (Device Support System) compartment for equipment placement, two individual supports for monitors up to 24", connectivity tray, individual drawer for office supplies, wireless induction charger, drawer units at the ends of the console, and a Nightingale CXO ergonomic chair at each workstation. In addition, all compartments are finished with security locks to protect the equipment.

A meeting table completes the technical furniture of the control centre. It is a TYPE C table by RDI for 5 users and includes 3 connectivity points and 5 executive leather chairs model EC6 by Nightingale Chairs.

In addition, the operational environment has another meeting area equipped with an RDI TYPE C table for 6 users that includes 3 connectivity points and 6 Nightingale EC6 leather executive chairs.

The range of LAN consoles is defined by its high storage capacity and for being a highly flexible product when organizing operating environments of this type. It is highly modular and offers solutions that can be adapted to any special need.
