RDI implements the 4YC solution at the University of Hail in Saudi Arabia.

RDI is relied upon by the University of Hail for implementing the 4YC VOIP project, overseeing AV signal management in its IT-Cyber Room.

Roomdimensions reinforces its position as a technology partner in the Saudi Arabian market with a 4YC project for the education sector. Two rooms within the same building have been equipped with 4YC VOIP (Video Over IP). The solution manages the audiovisual devices of the workstation and the video wall.

 

With this implementation, all users of the room can share their content with the large-format video wall, which is dynamically managed with a custom application allowing positioning and scaling sources with a single finger as well as defining and saving scenarios. In addition, the supervisors of both environments are able to take direct control of all sources at KVM level to improve operations in emergency situations.

 

The implementation of the project has been done by pre-configuring all the equipment at our facilities, facilitating the start-up tasks and reducing to the maximum the time allocated to the execution of the project on site and, consequently, the project costs.

This project is part of Roomdimensions' strategy to position itself as a provider of technological solutions for control rooms that allow customers to effectively manage them, besides the technical furniture solutions and ergonomic complements that also complete the project.

The implementation of the 4YC solution covers two independent environments which have video walls with 3x3 55” matrix. The equipment is supplied and configured to manage the signals from the operators' PCs so that they can be sent to the videowall, not only visualizing the content but also managing the operators' keyboard and mouse.
