The Fréjus Road Tunnel is a tunnel that connects France and Italy. It runs under Col du Fréjus in the Cottian Alps between Modane in France and Bardonecchia in Italy. It is one of the major trans-Alpine transport routes between France and Italy being used for 80% of the commercial road traffic.

The control center guarantees safety and quality of service, monitors traffic management as well as maintaince tasks to improve the condition of the two Franco-Italian Tunnels.

The range of technical furniture proposed by RDI for this project contributes to the proper functioning and development of the specific tasks of the control center.

The Frejus Tunnel Control Room consoles have the option of height adjustment, as this is a key point to improve performance.

WIRELESS CHARGER

Battery chargers without wires for compatible devices placed below the work surface. A small tag in the table board allows knowing the position.

CONNECTIVITY UNIT

Located on the table top and easily accessible to the operator. With a steel sheet cover, it allows access to the power, data or USB sockets placed inside the structural duct of the console.

For 24x7 operations environments. Fabrics, fibers and mechanisms finished in black.

BASE UPRIGHT

Made of steel sheet, enables the conduction of the structured cabling from the technical floor to the central cable duct. With phenolic lateral embellishing plate with the customer's logo milled on the surface.

WORK SURFACES

Made of compact phenolic resin, 18mm thick. Beveled edges with LED lighting.
