SECURSAT implements a next-generation SOC powered by RDI technology

RDI has delivered SECURSAT’s new Security Operations Center (SOC) in Milan. The company specializes in the remote management of security systems for the banking, retail, industrial and real estate sectors.

Operating internationally and monitoring thousands of facilities in real time, SECURSAT required a new operations center capable of centralizing its activity while also functioning as a technology showroom for clients and partners.

A Technological Hub in the Center of Milan

The new SOC has been implemented in collaboration with INTERMARK SISTEMI, RDI's technological partner in Italy. The design features an open environment with no visual barriers, allowing the room to adapt to new operational and technological scenarios.

The system integrates RDI's LITE range consoles as the primary solution for the operator workstations, a choice based on their capability to meet the demands of a continuous operation environment as well as the technical and ergonomic requirements of a center with these characteristics.

RDI LITE Consoles

For a 24/7 continuous operation environment like SECURSAT's SOC, the most suitable solution was a technically complete, ergonomic console prepared for intensive use.

RDI's LITE range meets these requirements with a robust structure, predefined cabling routes, technology housings, rack spaces with patch panels for power and network, complete connectivity on the work surface, wireless charging, adjustable LED lighting, and custom client corporate branding with illumination. They are fully dimensioned for 24/7 continuous operation.

The selection of RDI's LITE range as the main solution reflects the strict requirements of an operations center without compromises: functionality, reliability, and ergonomics for 24/7 continuous operation.

Real-Time Information Management

Operators work from the LITE workstations with access to all necessary connectivity directly on the work surface. The videowalls simultaneously display cameras, maps, alarms, and operational data from a single interface, featuring dynamic configurations adaptable to any situation. Integrated meeting rooms allow for presentations and videoconferences without disrupting the SOC's daily activity.

The project demanded the integration of industry-leading solutions to build an operations center without technical compromises. The choice fell on RDI for the operator consoles, VuWall for videowall management, AMX for centralized control via touch panels, and ALFATRON (currently JOSAWA) for signal distribution over copper and fiber.

The SECURSAT SOC demonstrates that it is possible to combine operational capacity, regulatory certification, and functional versatility within the same space. This project consolidates the collaboration between INTERMARK SISTEMI and RDI in developing control environments for critical infrastructures on an international scale.
